This fully translucent relic was recovered in Bell County, Texas and is made from very fine Edwards Plateau chert. This relic is beveled on one side from ancient resharpening and has a number of well-patinated hinge flakes that confirm its age. In addition, certain parts of the relic have a milky patination which is common in relics made from this material.
